Mommies R Bomb 3 cover

Today is the anniversary of Mommies R Bomb. Three years ago I had an idea that took months thinking about. Originally I wanted to do a podcast but I felt like everyone was doing that and it felt overwhelming so I scratched that. I may go back to that idea in the future. Prior to this site, I had a music blog and I enjoyed it, but being a mom made it hard to keep up with new music. My readers were sparse so I let it go. Then I had the idea to do a mommy blog, because I was always reading them and wasn’t finding things I was interested in. Thus the idea for MommiesRBomb.com was created. Creating content for this blog has really been a passion of mine. I am grateful for the ability to write about family things and mom stuff. Let’s take a look back over the last year.

Favorite Mommies R Bomb Posts

I’m going to be honest, last year with work and life Mommies R Bomb got a little put behind. I know consistency is key to keeping readers so I did make sure there were at least two posts a month. Some of my favorite posts were my things to do in Atlanta and my recipes. I like creating the things to do posts, because it encourages families to get out and do things together. The more popular recipes were the herb & spice chicken wings, vegan chili recipe and the jambalaya pasta. Another favorite post of mine is the playgrounds and parks, because I got to venture out and explore parks. It’s always fun to explore the city and I will continue to update that post.

Firsts for Mommies R Bomb

Mommies R Bomb tried out some new things this past year and I will continue to do them. I started a TikTok page which I actually enjoy. No I’m not doing hit viral dances on them, but family related material. Finding a new audience and exploring a different way to create content is fun. I also was lucky to take my family to an event as press. We attended Holiday Road during the Christmas holidays and that was exciting for me and them. Being recognized as press for families is important to me. A couple of sites have linked my recipes on their site and that is exciting for growth.

Goals for the future

For this next year I hope to continue to expand Mommies R Bomb. I am grateful for the increase in readers worldwide. It is my goal to continue to be a local source of information for families. In the future I am looking to make and sell Mommies R Bomb merchandise for Bomb Moms. I hope that more places will invite me as press to their activities for families. A podcast might be in my future, not quite sure. Affiliate marketing has been a part of this blog and expect more to come. I want MommiesRBomb.com to be a recognized source of information for moms and caretakers. As my life gets busier, my daughter will be joining in on this content creation. Thank you to all the supporters.
