Fall season is my favorite time of the year, it’s the perfect time to do outdoor activities with the whole family, before it gets too cold. I got you covered on some cool things to do in and around Atlanta. Prices range from free to $30.

  • North Georgia State Fair : The Taste of the Fair
    October 2-4, Fri, 4-8PM, Sat-Sun 12-8PM at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta
    Instead of rides and games, attendees can drive thru or walk up and buy popular fair snacks like funnel cakes, turkey legs, corn dogs and more. They are partnering with MUST Ministries, if guests bring 7 canned goods or non-perishables they will receive a free ticket to next year’s fair.

  • Georgia State Fair
    Oct 2-11, Sun 12-10PM, Mon- Thurs 4- 10PM, Fri 4-12AM, Sat 10-12AM
    Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA
    The Georgia State Fair will have most rides and attractions open to the public. Masks, temperature checks and social distancing will be required. Click here for more information.
  • Family Zoo Yoga
    October 10 8:30-9:30AM at Zoo Atlanta
    Families with children age 4 and up can loosen up with the pandas at Zoo Atlanta in a “Panda-monium” style yoga class. $15 without Zoo admission, free with a timed entry ticket.

  • Duluth Drive-In Theatre: The Addams Family & Beetlejuice
    October 10 & 24th 6:30- 10PM at Duluth High School
    Watch Halloween themed movies on the big screen in the comfort and safety of your car. Free, but registration is required.

    October 11th 12-5PM
    Free admission to the High with registration. The featured gallery is Picture The Dream: The Story of The Civil Rights Movement Through Children’s Books.

  • Children Helping Children Lovefest 2020
    October 25 11-7PM at Piedmont Park

    Free philanthropic festival to support children at Covenant House, Camp Kudzu, Nicholas House and other nonprofits that serve Atlanta youth.

    October 31 10AM-5PM at College Football Hall of Fame
    Celebrate Halloween at the Hall of Fame with tricks and treats. Kids 12 and under in free with a costume

  • Brick-or-Treat
    Now thru November 1st, Thursday-Monday 11AM-5PM at
    Legoland Discovery Center

    Families can explore the indoor Lego playground’s hidden side of the Lego mini sets, with a Halloween theme. All attractions are open as well.

  • Pumpkin Festival: Play by Day, Glow by Night
    Now thru November 1st Fri-Sun 2-9PM at Stone Mountain Park
    Experience park attractions and entertainment along with a new magic show. When the sun goes down enjoy the glow experience with unique themed areas, fireworks and a glow parade
