Halloween is coming soon and if you are looking of different ways to get into the holiday spirit, I got you. Try celebrating the holiday at home with these spooky-cool experiments. Check out my post on Zulily of how to make Halloween experiments for all the details. Here is the behind the scenes of what went into making into those experiments.

Pumpkin Volcano

Out of all the Halloween experiments I tried this was my favorite one. Max definitely enjoyed it. The items were simple and stuff I already had on hand at home.

Ghosts and Jack-O’-Lanterns Halloween experiments

I liked that this Halloween experiment had options of ways to do it. Basically there was an easy way and a really easy way, both yield the same results. This was the really easy way.

Witches brew

The best part of this Halloween experiment is that it is edible. It was a fairly simple experiment. You could make one for the kids and a separate one for the adults to indulge in. Everybody will be scarily delighted. Check out how it looked when we put it in a cup.

Magic potion

Let’s keep it magical and use your imagination for this Halloween experiment. Creating a magic potion will really set the holiday festivities off right. The family can pretend like they are witches and wizards or any other creature that makes potions. Be careful because this is not an edible potion. Check out how it worked.

Dissolving M off M&Ms

Looking for the easy Halloween experiments you can do? This is it. All you need is water, a cup and M&Ms. The M will come off after a few minutes and float to the top. Take a look and see.

M&M experiment

All of these Halloween experiments were pretty simple to do, mostly using items in the pantry. They are safe for younger to older kids, just practice safety. While y’all are enjoying the fun, don’t worry about cooking, just have the turkey chili cook itself in the slow cooker. I enjoyed doing these with my family and can’t wait to do them again on Halloween, remember to check Zulily for all items needed and measurements. Have a creative Halloween!
