It is the perfect time for you and your family to spend some time together, outside of the house. This Spring events list includes festivals, immersive experiences, holiday events and more. This spring event experience will allow you to spend the night at the zoo. You will get to see the behind the scenes areas of the zoo and go inside the animal nutrition kitchen.

Celebrate Easter at Children’s Museum, April 16 & 17
Celebrate the holiday with hands-on activities. Including bunny hop dance, Easter egg hunt, Spring science and more.

Adventure Cubs at Zoo Atlanta, April 19
Bring your little ones, age 0-5 out to explore and engage in activities in the zoo. You and your toddler can connect with the wildlife in a fun way. March is all about monkeys and April will be all about gorillas. Reservations required.

Disney On Ice at Gas South Arena, April 21- 24
Your kids favorite characters will be singing their dongs and skating on ice. There will be 50 characters going through 14 different stories. Create great memories with your family.

Earth Day at Atlanta Botanical Gardens, April 22
Celebrate Earth Day with various activities around the garden. Try out musical instruments made from plants, create Earth Day art, plant seeds and scavenger hunt.

In My Granny’s Garden at The Alliance Theatre, now – April 24
This is a play for your little ones as they see the book In My Granny’s Garden come to life. They will see the thrill of growing their own food. Tickets are $10 and less.

Wild Safari Experience at Illuminarium, now- April 25
Experience this awesome virtual safari through Africa. Travel through South Africa, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania. Tickets are $35-50 for ages 12 and up, $30-45.

Atlanta Blooms at Atlanta Botanical Gardens, now- April 30
The best spring events are the ones outside where you can really enjoy nature. See all the beautiful flowers including tulips and daffodils. Also learn how to grow your own beautiful garden.

UniverSoul Circus at Gwinnett Place Mall, April 14- May 22
The circus with the most rhythm and soul is back. Bring the family out to see amazing trapeze artists, motorcyclist, clowns, and more talented acts. If you can’t make it to Gwinnett it will be coming to Atlanta April 14th.

Spring Scramble Scavenger Hunt at Oakland Cemetery, now – May 31
Get your friends or family together for a scavenger hunt in the historic Oakland Cemetery. There are 3 difficulty levels and weekly prize drawings.

Imagine Picasso: The Immersive Art Exhibit at Pullman Yards, now – June 19
This is 360- degree immersive experience that combines art and technology. Guests will be able to see 200+ Picasso pieces brought to life from museums and private collections. Tickets $22 and up.

Candytopia, at Buckhead Disco Kroger plaza, now – April 30
If you have ever imagined going to real life Candyland then this is for you. Explore this candy museum with lots of treats to eat along the way. Your kids will be so happy!

Pete The Cat at Center for Puppetry Arts, now – May 29
The children’s best selling books Pete The Cat is coming to life on stage. There will be puppets, original music, interactive elements and projected animations. Great for kids 12 and under, tickets $31 and under, includes admission to the museum.

Food-O-Rama Festival at Grant Park, April 16
All fans of food trucks should come out to this event. You will be able to find something to eat for even the pickiest eaters, including vegans as well. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets as you enjoy the park and your delicious food.

Lemonade Days at Brook Run Park, April 20- 24
This signature Dunwoody event will feature carnival rides, food and beverage vendors, and musical performances. Admission is free, ride tickets $1.25 each.

Smyrna Jonquil Festival at Downtown Smyrna, April 23-24
In the Village Green you and your family can enjoy this spring event. There will be live performances, food vendors, arts and crafts booths, children and pet activities and more.

Taste of Marietta at Marietta Square, April 24
The Taste is back in person with lots of restaurants located in and around Marietta. There will also be musical entertainment and a kids play area. Bring the family out to this community spring event.

In the Marietta Square come check out local artists crafts, jewelry, knick-knacks and products on sale, plus live performances, food to purchase and a kids area. Free admission

Sweet Auburn Spring Fest at Sweet Auburn Historic District, May 7-8
This annual spring event will have lots of musical performances, food vendors, a kids zone and a good time. Free admission.

Holiday Spring Events

Spring Festival at The Avenue Peachtree City, April 14
Get ready for the Easter holiday with this fun festival. There will be the Easter Bunny, face painting, a DJ, a balloon artist, an egg hunt and much more

Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza at Barrington Hall, April 15
In Roswell, kids can participate in this spectacular Easter egg hunt. There will be prizes and goodies. After the hunt enjoy a picnic and lawn games, like hula hoops, dye your own eggs, races, yard bowling and more. Tickets $5-10, 3 and under free.

Marietta Community Egg Hunt at Life University, April 15
I am excited abut this Spring event because it is in my hometown. This event will feature an egg hunt for all with more than 60,000 eggs, food, activities, music and games. A free event for the whole family.

Hoppy Easter at The Works, April 16
This Easter event has fun for the kids and the adults. Enjoy an Easter egg hunt, frozen beverages for kids and adults, complimentary axe throwing lessons, dancing and much more.

Atlanta botanical garden things to do

Earth Day at Atlanta Botanical Gardens, April 22
Let’s celebrate the Earth with fun activities. Activities include, Earth-friendly art, live music performance, seed planting and a scavenger hunt. This event is free with Garden admission.

Atlanta Braves Fan Experience at The Battery, April 12-13
Come celebrate the Braves World Series win with a festive experience.There will be immersive activities including a personal home run experience. This event is free of charge.
