What do you do with your birthday/holiday cards, pictures your kids drew for you and random loose photos? Most will look at them and maybe put them in a special folder or drawer, but a majority of that goes to the trash. I had an idea of creating a really cool scrapbook, but then I realized that would just be stored away and I would not see it often or keep it updated. I want to see the items in my scrapbook daily and draw inspiration and joy from them. To reach my goal of seeing it all the time I am pinning everything on the wall in my small attic closet and it was a great idea (if I do say so myself). Being able to see everything reminds me of some of the great memories and makes a difference in my overall attitude and mood.
Scrapbook must have Positive Inspiration
Everything that I was keeping gave me a good feeling when I looked at it or read it. Having something visual that inspires me or brings me joy is important to me and my mental health. My scrapbook consists of photos from special events, pictures my kids drew for me, birthday and mother’s day cards, love letters from my husband and even pictures I drew.
