Living in the Atlanta area and the Georgia sun there is always something to do outside. My family loves to go to Piedmont Park in Midtown. It’s my favorite park mainly because my husband proposed to me there 😍.

There is a lot of stuff to do there including; playgrounds, public pool (in the summer), tennis courts, dog park, basketball court, large fields for dodgeball and softball, workout equipment, trails and of course just grass for you to have a picnic or kick back and relax.

On our most recent trip we just went to enjoy the day. We stopped by a new eatery in the park, Sean’s Heart of the Park. It is conveniently located by the pool and the playground. Its a concession stand that serves breakfast (all day), lunch, kids, salads, sides, soups, smoothies, coffee, treats and snacks. The prices are very reasonable as well.

We got the Amber Biscuit for $2, which is a cornbread biscuit with honey, very good.

The Fix Smoothie for $6, a blend of apple, banana, strawberries, almond butter and milk also very good.

And 2 King of Pops popsicles at $3/pop.

If you are in the Atlanta area definitely check this place out.
