Jambalaya Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Rotini pasta Or pasta of your choice
  • 2 Skinless, boneless chicken breasts Seasoned
  • 1 cup Peeled, tail off shrimp Seasoned
  • 2 links Andouille Chicken Sausage Or pork
  • ½ Green bell pepper (diced)
  • ½ Red bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 Stalks of celery (diced)
  • 1 cup Yellow onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves Minced garlic
  • ¾ cup Chicken broth
  • 1⅓ tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil Or a little more depending on meat
  • ¾ cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Tony Chachere's seasoning
  • ½ tbsp Oregano
  • ½ tbsp Thyme

Method
 

  1. Diced veggies and chicken breasts, slice sausage
  2. Boil noodles accordingly, save ¼ cup of pasta water
  3. Cook shrimp in 1 tbsp of butter for 2-3 min, set aside
  4. Cook chicken breasts in olive oil 4-5 min, set aside
  5. Add 1 tbsp of butter, Andouille sausage, onions, peppers and celery until veggies are soft and sausage is browned, 5-7 min
  6. Mix in garlic and seasoning for 30 sec to 1 min
  7. Add in Worcestershire sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste and chicken broth, simmer for 10 min
  8. Add heavy cream and simmer for 8-10 min
  9. Mix in pasta liquid, cooked shrimp, chicken and pasta
  10. Taste for seasoning, top with green onions and parsley
  11. Enjoy!
