French Toast

Delicious and simple french toast recipe that the whole family will love

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices Brioche bread
  • cup Almond milk
  • 3-4 Eggs I used 3 eggs, 1 egg white
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Powdered sugar for optional topping
  • 1 tbsp Fresh berries for optional topping

Method
 

  1. Mix together cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar in small bowl
  2. Mix together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract
  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients in a pie pan
  4. Melt 1 tbsp of butter in hot pan
  5. Dip each side of a slice of bread in the egg and seasoning mixture
  6. Fry the bread on each side for 2-3 minutes, until brown to liking
  7. Continue to add butter before you fry a new slice of bread
  8. When finished top with powdered sugar and fresh fruit
