Good mornings start with a good breakfast. During the week, I’m definitely an easy pop it in the toaster or microwave breakfast maker. But I do like to make a more complete breakfast on holidays and the weekends. I haven’t ate pork in over 5 years so my breakfast meat of choice is usually chicken sausage or eggs. Unless I’m at a brunch restaurant, then salmon croquette me please. Anyway my kids love chicken sausage and any type of bread, biscuit or roll. Combine the two for an easy breakfast idea, chicken sausage crescent rolls. Made with just two ingredients, Delia’s Chicken Sausage and Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.
Supplies needed for Easy Breakfast
I want to note that Delia’s is local to my area, but a similar chicken sausage will do, Other than the two ingredients, you just need a pan and an oven. I chose to precook my sausage in the air fryer while the oven was preheating, to maximize my time. I dipped the crescent rolls in strawberry-grape jam and ate with Greek yogurt with granola and a scrambled egg. Mainly to give me more protein. You can make a bunch and then save them in the fridge to microwave during the week. But very easy prep and clean up.
